A DIGITAL PLANT
it grows, when you water it
This interactive installation displays a plant, which grows, when it is watered. The flowerpot is equipped with a sensor, that detects the water. If water is detected, the plant grows, with different branches in every growing cycle. When no water is detected, the plant slowly decreases.
The signal is transferred to an arduino computer.
The screen is displayed with a projector on the wall, where the flowerpot is standing, so the user gets the feeling, that he is directly watering the plant.
The plant was programmed with Processing.
